FromHawaii

All together, there are nearly two-hundred podcasts with every topic under the Hawaiian Sun. Starting from January 07 I will be stressing my ShoeString concepts: Podcasting on a ShoeString, E-Commerce on a ShoeString, etc.

Podcast WDS 78

This is the first in this series that incorporated the new visual shownotes concept. I talked about Hawaii and spend some time on the ferry situation. I designed a new test called the W-Ecom program and read the questions and graded it on-line. I shared it with my new MiniTutorial on e-commerce. I presented number 25 of The Psychology of Mythology. I, once again, was on some thin ice by criticizing people for their rigid core values.

Podcast WDS 25a

I begin with instructions for my new ShowNotes system. The link: www.askcarl.net/WDSweblog.html I reviewed issue 24a by talking about the difference between brick and mortar and e-commerce; location vs foundation. I talked about the dot-com collapse and the lessons learned. I compared internet rip-offs with fad diets including a link to authorities that tell the truth. I digressed into a brief discussion of the Federal Reserve with a link and eBay with a link. I concluded by offering a free MiniTutorial.

Podcast WDS 10s

I started with instructions for my mini-screen Show Notes. Next
was a revisit in which I trashed the newest anti-smoking prescription drug. I then
narrate the pre-course message and play a bit of the Allegory Method from the
original recording.

Podcast WDS 14web

This podcast has a new system of screen shots that replace the older system of show notes. I do a Person A and Person B allegory to illustrate the concept of Web 2.0. I talk about Push vs Pull technology and the importance of a website controlled one hundred percent by the e-commerce person. It is my contention that control is key to e-commerce success.

Podcast WDS #77

I started this discussion by outlining the RSS/XML program and the podcatchers that you put somewhere on your hard-drive. I mention some of the podcasts that I listen to the minute they come on-line. I then list other popular shows. I discuss the interactive shows called TalkCasts. The one I'm familiar with is TalkShoe. It comes with a tutorial that's linked in the show notes.
