Build Your Own Website #14 August 23, 2007
MP3 Link >click<
ID3 Tag: This podcast has a new system of screen shots that replace the older system of show notes. In this podcast, I do a Person-A and Person-B allegory to illustrate the concept of Web 2.0.  I talk about Push vs Pull technology and the importance of a website controlled one hundred percent by the e-commerce person. It's my contention that control is key to e-commerce success.

This is a special introduction to my new on-line system and fee structure. I have decided to give away all my older cassette tape and workbook programs but with an increased emphasis on $30 consultations. It's a very unique and extremely straight-forward program. I used this podcast as a place to introduce this new fee schedule.

Updated January 7th:  I talk about my new years resolution to get this Website podcast online much more often--hopefully weekly. I discuss the difficulty of that in terms of Parkinsons Law and Murphy's Law. I also discuss the problems with a program called TalkShoe and open up the opportunity for an interactive program using Skype.

Here's the schedule for the Skype interactive conference program: I'll be available every Tuesday: 9pm Eastern Standard Time, that will be 8pm central, 7pm mountain, 6pm West Coast, 5pm in Alaska, and 4pm here in Hawaii. You can register to join the group using this link: >email<

Build Your Own Website September 28, 2006
If you're a subscriber, I'm sure you've noticed that I've been unable to keep up with podcasts for this website topic. So, beginning with issue #70 of the From Hawaii Podcast, I've initiated a new format.

I've adopted a kind of magazine style to discuss a little bit about each topic listed in my schedule. Along with this blog topic, I'm including news from Hawaii; the dilemma of some seniors & stay-at-home-moms; e-commerce opportunities; hypnotism; allegories; charisma; health issues (including weight control and cigarette smoking); painful psychological problems such as the broken heart;  and I may talk about some unique podcasts I've discovered.
I will, however, continue the serial: The Psychology of Mythology.

This is the weblog link: http://www.askcarl.net/PodcastWDS.html

Using this link you can check out the latest issues including show notes for each. I will continue to produce shows about building websites but in between, you can hear some short but relevant ideas and concepts.

Don't forget about the Archive Program. In the past couple of weeks, I've updated it quite a bit. It's at http://www.podcastwds.com
