Edition #16h: I contribute to a Q & A format to a program called Ten-Minute Lessons DotCom. I used the ShowNotes from TML to paraphrase three of these. In the first TML show I tackled the question. "Just what is hypnotism?" In the second there was this question: "How does a hypnotist hypnotize and can anyone hypnotize?" In the third, I told the infamous: "The Mary Experience" story. Every podcast I record eventually will be archived at Podcast WDS DotCom. The hypnotism shows can be found in Section Six.
Bumper music: I started and ended this show with cuts from an ancient vinyl record. If I had a signature song, this would be it... I used it in my stage shows during the early 1970s. This old album displays no copyright information, but in respect for the artists: I should mention that the composer was Harry Revel and the orchestra was conducted by Hugo Peretti. The album was titled And So To Sleep - Mercury Records.

Esoteric Topics & Hypnotism September 28, 2006
If you're a subscriber, I'm sure you've noticed that I've been unable to keep up with podcasts for the Hypnotism Podcast. So, beginning with issue #70 of the From Hawaii Podcast, I've initiated a new format.

I've adopted a kind of magazine style to discuss a little bit about each topic listed in my schedule. Along with this blog topic, I'm including news from Hawaii; the dilemma of some seniors & stay-at-home-moms; e-commerce opportunities; allegories; charisma; health issues (including weight control and cigarette smoking); painful psychological problems such as the broken heart;  and I may talk about some unique podcasts I've discovered.
I will continue the serial: The Psychology of Mythology.

This is the weblog link: http://www.askcarl.net/PodcastWDS.html

Using this link you can check out the latest issues including show notes for each. I will continue to produce shows for hypnotism topics but in between, you can hear some short but relevant ideas and concepts.

Don't forget about the Archive Program. In the past couple of weeks, I've updated it quite a bit. It's at http://www.podcastwds.com

Please feel free to contact me any time about anything: >email<

~ Show Notes ~

Edition #15hd (September 6th) This is the forth and final of the series (12ha, 13hb, 14hc)  in which I re-record parts of a 2000 program titled Structures of Hypnotism II. It's double the length (46 minutes) of the previous three 22 minute shows. This is the final course of this type from my hypnotherapy career, and I feel it has value for therapists with limited clinical training.
~ Show Notes ~

Edition #14hc (September 5th) This is the third in a series in which I record parts of a 2000 program titled Structures of Hypnotism II. This is likely the final course from my hypnotherapy career. It offers the clinician some inside information from the point of view of a veteran psychotherapist. In number 15HD, I will continue recording from the same program using this contiguous number and lettering system, i.e., the show after that will be number16HE, and the one after that will be 17HF. All shows will be archived at Podcast WDS DotCom.
Edition #13hb (September 4, 2006) This is the second in a series in which I record parts of a 2000 program titled Structures of Hypnotism II. This was part of the last course in hypnotherapy I put together. I think it continues to offer someone starting out some insights to an established practice. In number 14HC, I will continue recording from this cassette tape and maintain the same number and letter system (number 15HD etc.) until I have completed the program (I guess then, I'll need to again become creative).
~ Show Notes ~

Edition #12ha (September 3, 2006) This is the first of a series in which I record parts of a 2000 program titled Structures of Hypnotism II. This was part of a course with topics for a beginning hypnotherapist. In number 13HB, I will continue recording from this cassette tape and maintain that same number and letter system (number 14HC etc.) until I have reproduced much of the program.
In the pasted section there's a Midi reproduction of a reproduction: Welcome To My World.

Esoteric Topics & Hypnotism Sept 2, 2006
I've got this scheduled for the next podcast. It will be #12h. I'm shooting for Sunday. I'm not sure what I'll be covering. Tune in a find out.

One thing. Notice there are the three essentials right on the top of this webpage: (1) links to contact me (2) a easy way to either subscribe to the hypnotism topic or to all my podcast shows. (3) a direct link to the mp3 podcasts.

If you're not clear on "how to subscribe" to a podcast show, send me an email with that (or any) question, and I'll send you back a clear explanation.

I'm very interested in developing techniques of hypnotism for the internet. I thought it was possible 8 years ago, and I'm more convinced of this today. If you're interested in the possibilities, get in contact with me. Check that out at the mp3 link below.

Edition #11h (August 6, 2006) I ramble a bit on the evolution of science from the control of fire to agriculture and cave art dream rendering. The motivation behind cave art tells us a lot about the Freudian view of hypnotism. I discuss the importance of archiving and, with that in mind, I list a brief outline of each of the ten previous hypnotism shows. This outline will end up at Podcast WDS DotCom.

This is the looooongest podcast I've done so far! ...it's 50 minutes, for heavensakes! The focus is on self-hypnosis with oblique references to meditation and stage hypnosis shows. If you're interested in those things, you might like it... if not warning there may be side effects. :)

On Nov. 3rd, I recorded this show again...the Oct. 31 edition was a bit distorted with too-high preamp levels -- shoulda checked as I was recording, but I didn't. This time I made reference to my HAX Test; you can check it out at this link: >click<

This is Trucker Tom's website where you can find the link to his favorite meditation exercise. I had forgotten it was in an MP3 format: >click<

Rick mentioned a hypnosis eBook. You can find that (and others) here: >click<
